Jareer i think that in case of elite force thats not the case. Elite force is prepared to dealwith such situations. I guess they were just taken by surprize and from all directions so they did their best by protecting the team. what i am wondering is,where was the backup? why no one arrived on the scene on time. a VVIP bus doesn't reach the destination for 30 minutes and no one bothers :O

i wonder whats going on. Army at both sides of the border is trying to utilize the war hysteria in its best posible benefits. On a side note i think Pakistani Army is trying to earn some lost reputation ( lost during Musharaf era ) back by using this oppurtunity and trying to built on the weakneses of stupid civilian government. Unfortunate thing is the question that is Banu not a part of Pakistan? aren't those Pakistanis living in Sawaat and its surrounding areas. if yes then why PAF's Jet Fighters aren't protecting the air space there? no wonder if those people hate the centre and start dis-owning Pakistan

I completely agree. We as individuals have been ignoring our responsibilities for decades now. Leaving everything to others specially government. However Governmental authorities should implement the law in an authoritative way and when they are doing it our responsibility is to support them instead of protesting against them.

I read somewhere in newspaper that Women Center (created to help Women who need help) has been renamed as Benazir centre for Women . where as the fact remains that center is non-operational for sometime now and is still not operational because of lack of funding. PPP government just changed the name and left it like that :(

What kind of legal justifications? Supreme court can ask the board to re-evaluate the papers but it didn't in this specific case besides Board's own law states that no paper can be re-evaluated by any authority inside the board. BTW Nothing was approved against Iftikhar Chaudry (if you are talking about the reference by then President Pervaiz Musharaf)

Apart from Kashmir issue this is really important that India has made this a routine process to blame Pakistan as soon as they know about something. Be it Sumjhota Express incident, Parliament Bombing and any other incident. The fact remains that all of these incidents were later investigated and came out to be one or the other separatist moment.

I think Shahbaz Shareef's government is taking few right steps but overall its not managing things properly. Take for instance the developments done in beautifying Lahore: all the PHA maali's working to maintain green belt... But were those Poor Employees made permanent ... NO they weren't... these kind of issues should be addressed as well

I guess other than the politics involved in the case one thing should be kept in mind that this activity is being done through party generated funds (every party does that and has the democratic right to spend its own money in the ways in feels feasible). I don't find any problem in them commemorating their foundation day and rejoicing their history. As far as Bhuttos are concerned. Abhi tak jitnay bhutto niklay hain woh tau mur gaye hai ... jitnay aur niklain gay un ka bundobast bhi koi na koi ker day ga.
